Your Webpage Speed to Determine Your Success

It’s all about speed,Google a synonym for speed will be ranking your webpages based on the speed of your webpage. It has already generated the impact with its fast Web applications, search, web applications and services and wants to generate the same on the webpages it ranks to enable users to land on the desired page sooner.

Google has said,it has begun considering site speed as one of many signals it uses to determine the relevance of a Web page in search results.Web sites that fail to optimize for fast loading now face a greater likelihood of being ranked lower on Google search results pages.

Don’t be too worried, speed will not carry as much weight as a page’s relevance and note that less than 1% of search queries are impacted by the change.Based on a study faster sites create happy users and studies show that when a site responds slowly, visitors spend less time there. But faster sites don’t just improve user experience; recent data shows that improving site speed also reduces operating costs. Like us, our users place a lot of value in speed.

Users can check on  free tools like Alexa , to evaluate the speed at which their Web sites load.Other being PageSpeed ( Firefox and Firebug), YSlow from yahoo, WebPagetest ( Google).
The first victim’s for this would be the sites in English and those which comeup in googl search
